Christmas is getting closer. Got some presents for some. Hope I can get them done. Had the first snow last night. Gone now. Ordered new DVD player today. Hope it will let me watch the DVD Finding John Christmas. Should get here by 12/12/11. At least thats what the order said.

Norm and Rachel had a Thanksgiving dinner at their place last night. Got filled up. Then pooped out. Came home and stayed in my chair until just after 11:00, then went to bed. All in all it was a good day.

Halloween hayride on October 29 was a great success. The youngest was 5 months and the oldest was me. The longer we rode the cooler it got. When we came to the rode by the house it surprised me that Chuck just went on. Then I remembered that we had to go to the pumpkin patch. Everyone got to pick their own pumpkin. Went with Norm on Sunday to take a couple of the bulls back to their home. Then came home and slept most of the afternoon. All in all is was a pretty good weekend.

It has been a long time sence I've been on here. This is my new computer. My other one died. Now I have to learn all over again.

Guess I'm learning, each day things become a littler easier. The last two days have been a little wet. Nothing bad, but the crops are liking it. My Heart Patch is looking better all the time. Guess I'll go do some more laundry.

After two trips to Big Clifty the bailer was ready to go. They finished about dark. Guess they got it all done. To do for July. LOOSE WEIGHT! 225 lbs is way to much for me. Starting today I will loose weight. Heart Patch is going very good. Someday I'll get a photo on here.

Doug stopped by for a brake while mowing the lawn and said the vacation was good. Been cleaning up my shop. Looking pretty good. Wish someone would show me how to transfer a picture. Maybe sometime it will drop into my mind.

It's Friday. Another week has gone by. Rachel and kids will be back today. Hope they had a good vacation. It seams as if I get my Heart pattern about half done and something else rears it's ugly head. I ereased everything and started again. It's looking better. Got to go work on it some more.

Tuesday my roof got renewed. Wednesday my telephone line got planted underground. Hopefully everything will work well for a long time.

Windstream came in this afternoon and fixed my phone line. Someone will be here in a day or so to put the line underground. It's so nice to be able to get on my computer and not have it go down on me.

Yesterday was a happy Easter with people and things I did, but the weather is another thing. I live on an island. The water in over the road between the house and barn. The house is leaking in Heathers old room and dripping down into the den. What a mess. And it will take a lot of money to get it back in good shape. Thats life. Checked the leakage this morning and it seams to have stopped. Norm will probably check on the roof today to see if he can tell what is wrong. I can hope.

Good day to everyone. New cows number 11. Two new babies as of yesterday. They are a good company to me. Gives me something to do. The heart pattern is going good. Changed it again. This time it is more to my liking. Time to grab my hook.

I got new company. Norm bought some new cows and they are in the lot out by the barn. One new baby came with them. Seven and baby counted for this morning. Still on an island. And its raining again. Got to go work on ny heart pattern.

It's been a while. Some things have happened. Got my tax return notice. Getting $600.00 back. That will help a lot. Norm is cleaning out the shop barn so he can do more with it. All the old clothes and other scrap stuff is cleaned out. WOW does the barn look different. Better. Time to go crochet. Still working on my heart.

It's a rainey day. So we need a little water. Saw Donny K. come in on his little tractor. You know me. Any thing happens I got to go check it out. He got a little plower thing that Norm has a went to work on his hunting plot. Went with Norm and rode while he cleaned off some stuff around the boundry between us and Miller. It's looking pretty good. One of these days the horses will have a very good place to live.

Well I just found out I spent money I didn't need to. something was wrong with my computer, so I asked Neil about it. He told me I didn't need a battery in the computer if it wasn't going to be used. Oh well.

Boy what a day. We left here about 10:00. Left for home about 3:00 and got home about 4:00.I think we were all pooped. Neil napped on the way home. I napped after I got home and Norm and Neil fed then went home about 6:00. Told Norm the next time I go I'll have to have something to ride on. Good nights rest and I'm up and ready?

Happy Valentines Day Sunday was a good day. The new upstairs room at church is just about finished. Had a look at the downstairs, and Don and Linda told us the plans for the Sunday school rooms there. Looking good. Norm took me to town yesterday afternoon and I got my groceries and my printer ink. Now have to get my pills refilled and I'm set for another month. Got new pattern plan going on. Hopefully this one will be better as far as ease in making and in look will be.

Another month is gone in this new year. I finally decided I could not depend on other people to teach me to use my computer. I had to learn how to do it myself. One little step at a time. The poncho pattern I'm working on seems to be going pretty well. It will take awhile for me to get it made. Maybe by then I'll be able to put a picture on here so anyone can see what I'm doing.

It's still laundry day. This day its me. Got the DVD Finding John Christmas and couldn't get it on my DVD player. FRUSTRATION!Calming down I found out that I may need a different DVD player. Oh well, thats life. Mine anyway. Someday I'm going to be able to watch that movie anytime I want too.

Another snow day. Spring please come soon. Yesterday was a go to town day. Dr.'s appointment, Norm did some shopping and bill paying. Then we met Rachel and Doug for dinner. A little more shoping, then home. Norm got and put in a new stove vent. Sure looks better then the smoke covered old one. He told me we might have to go back to town today, but haven't heard from him about that yet.

Sunday was an interesting day. Went to church for 11:00 service. Norm came over and got me and we went to E-town to get my new glasses and do grocery shoping. He suggested Golden Coral. It has become a better place to go in the last year. First stop. Then we went to the bowling alley flee shopping place to get my new glasses. I really like them. Then to Kroger for groceries. That was a $150.00 trip. But I got everything I needed for the next month. So guess I'm set for a while longer.
